Outdoor Wednesday #29

Happy outdoor Wednesday! I took these photos at out local Riparian Preserve. Thought they were perfect for outdoor Wednesday. I actually took these in June. The temp was 114 today so not a good day for outdoor photos!!!

Thanks for popping by!

Hello!
I could not take 114 degrees. I am complaining about 90 degrees with humidity.

Your photos are great.

Have a great day!

You were never disappointed with the outcome of your photos in spite of the 3 digit temp. They are so lovely! Those yellow flowers against the backdrop of the the blue skies are just simply breath taking!

Oh Gwen, you get to see beautiful birds. I live in Phoenix in the city and all I see are hummingbirds and sparrows and blackbirds. I love the colored birds more. Where is this Riparian Area located? Would love to visit the area. Yes, it is hot here lately. Thanks for sharing. Country Hugs, Sherry

Lovely shots! And I can't even imagine how that kind of hot feels (being in the North East).

I love your photos!!...great job!
My brother lives in Az. and he's always topping me when I tell him how hot it is here in Texas. Then he will say that the humidity is very low so it doesn't seem as hot. I would think that 114* is still pretty dang hot!!
Happy OW!!

What lovely photos! You are one brave lady. 114 degrees would drive me mad - or at least to the nearest air conditioned building I could find. I hope you've had a good day.

Hi Gwen! I love your photos! Is that a goldfinch? He looks so big and so very gold compared to the ones in my backyard! I am especially charmed by the little chihuahua in your photo. He/she looks exactly like my sweet little granddog Paco who loves to give kisses also! Enjoy the rest of your week!...Debbie
